Masterstream Releases New Family of Agent Research Tools

Masterstream Software today released a family of new telecom research tools within its MasterStream-MX™ automation platform for telecom agents. These new tools allow agents to easily extract data on any wire center, calculate mileage between wire centers, and quickly determine which CLECs have local facility access to any given wire center. Additionally, a series of pricing research tools allow the agent to query Masterstream’s Provider Assimilation System (PAS) to quickly determine what pricing is available at any location based upon the service criteria they select, without having to submit a request for quote.

Masterstream’s Quote Manager has also been upgraded to include a one-click availability check function that shows the agent all of the details about the serving wire center for the service location, which competitive providers are known to have access to that wire center, and which providers have been issued an NPANXX to serve that location’s rate center. These new enhancements allow agents to quickly determine which telecom providers are available without having to log in to a variety of provider extranets.
