Salestream Software today announced the release of MasterStream Cloud- a major new enhancement to the MasterStream-UNITY platform for telecom professionals.

MasterStream Cloud has been in the works for years now and we’re excited to finally announce its release. MasterStream Cloud is a new exchange platform available exclusively to MasterStream users. Accessed via MasterStream’s new Cloud Manager, the “Cloud” allows users to establish direct connections with others for the purpose of submitting requests and receiving quotes for service.
MasterStream Cloud is not limited to the traditional retail agent relationships. Managed service providers (MSPs) and resellers can connect with their wholesale suppliers, master agents can connect with retail suppliers, and sub agents can connect with master agents.

NEW: Queuing Platform for RFQs within MasterStream-UNITY

Salestream Software today announced the release of a new queuing platform within the MasterStream-UNITY system for telecom professionals.

Salestream is pleased to announce the released our new queuing platform for RFQs. Queuing moves all quote processing into the background so users can immediately move on to something else after submitting an RFQ rather than having to wait for it to complete. This feature is particularly important when working with the kinds of large multi-location opportunities becoming more common among users.

Now when each submitted RFQ completes its quote process, a notification will appear on the submitter’s screen- wherever they are in the system- informing them of the RFQ’s completion and presenting a link allowing them to jump back to it for review.

In addition to the immediate benefits users will find with the queuing platform it is also a critical component in our upcoming release of MasterStream’s Cloud Manager, a major new feature set planned for release next week.

New Performance Tracking Charts in MasterStream-UNITY

MasterStream associate level users such as staff have long had robust reporting and performance tracking tools at their disposal. This release extends performance charts to the agent views, allowing each agent to view their own performance in a variety of new ways.

Among the new performance charts are: RFQ Submission tracking with month over month comparison (bar graph), requests by product type (pie chart), orders by product type (pie chart), and order revenue by product type (bar chart).

Salestream Software today announced the release of proposal tracking & notification, another enhancement to the MasterStream-UNITY platform for telecom professionals.

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensure MasterStream users are the best equipped, most efficient telecom professionals in the industry, we’ve just added some great new automatic tracking features for sales. The RFQ Manager has been upgraded to include tracking on proposals sent from MasterStream. The new information displayed includes the following:

Quotes Sent to Agent: shows timestamp showing when the quotes were sent to the agent and how many services were in each status at the time of send.
Quotes Sent to Customer: shows timestamp showing when the proposal was sent to the customer, who sent it and who it was sent to.
Viewed by Customer: shows the ten most recent times the customer viewed the proposal. This tracking is based on some changes to the proposal url when it is sent from the proposal itself.

As part of this new feature set we’ve also added a new notification feature that allows the agent or salesperson to receive an email notification whenever their customer has clicked on their proposal link.

NEW: User-Level Preferences / Group Update Status

Salestream Software today announced the release of another round of enhancements to the MasterStream-UNITY platform for telecom professionals.

In response to several, often competing, requests from customers about how to best present various menus within MasterStream, we’ve decided to provide the best of all worlds to our customers. In this round of updates we’ve added user-level preferences that allow the user to specify whether they prefer a menu to use predictive text or a scrollable pull-down bar.

Users can now set their own preferences with different menus and their counterparts can set their own, independent preferences. Users can now choose to use predictive text in menus where they might have such a large number of options (like customers) that a pull-down menu is impractical. In addition to the preference setting, users can toggle the menu behavior if they find that a particular circumstance warrants switching to the other menu style.

Also in this update we’ve added a group update status button in MasterStream’s Quote Manager to allow the updating of many site-level statuses at once. This feature is ideal for working with multi-location RFQs.

Salestream Software today announced the release of a series of enhancements to the RFQ Management system within the MasterStream-UNITY platform for telecom professionals.

The RFQ Manager is a major focal point for users and this round of enhancements was focused on maximizing, in every way possible, the users’ experience interacting with it. The most significant changes made are:

Searches run 10 times faster
A new layout maximizes screen usage for wide format monitors
New customizable search capabilities
More columns are sortable by clicking their headers
New export function allows RFQ export with related quotes
New site- level assignment capability

Our rebuild of the RFQ Manager has significantly improved the users’ experience in several important ways. The new layout is elegant and ideally suited for wide format monitors. From a functionality standpoint, the new search and sort capabilities represent time savings for users who spend much of their time interacting with the RFQs. Not only are almost all of the columns sortable by clicking the column headers, we’ve also made RFQs searchable by nearly any aspect of it. Users can search by any site variable such as address, state, zip code, npa-nxx, and almost any characteristic of it such as access speed, port bandwidth, equipment type, etc.

Salestream Software today announced the release of a new proposal format within the MasterStream-UNITY platform for telecom professionals.

MasterStream users have long had the ability to customize various aspects of the proposals they send to customers but the customization did not previously extend to the basic layout of the proposal itself. With this release users now have the ability to select their preferred layout, which affects how the location and quote data is displayed, in addition to the customizable factors.

The new layout option was requested by several customers over the preceding weeks and very well suited for opportunities with many locations. Unlike the pre-existing proposal layout, which itemized all quote details under a common heading, the new layout lists only the service addresses and their total recurring and non-recurring charges. Users and prospects can move their mouse over each address for a full breakdown view of the charges or they can launch a details page that presents a fully itemized view suitable for printing.

Salestream Software announced at the Channel Partner Show the release of its MasterStream-UNITY™ platform, a major upgrade to its industry-leading MasterStream telecom automation software. MasterStream-UNITY enables seamless quoting of both traditional and managed telecom services in a unified request process — allowing users to quote complex, multi-site services on demand. The addition of document automation, the real-time rules-based generation of pre-populated order documents, is another major UNITY enhancement.

MasterStream Releases New Splits in Commissions

Salestream Software today announced another enhancement to its MasterStream agency automation system — New Splits in Commissions.

After an exhaustive development and testing period, our newly enhanced Commissions Splits Manager is being released on Monday, February 28! Current Commissions users with existing splits will notice a slick new look to the Splits screen that also contains mouse-over Help menus to explain how to take advantage of the new features.

Previously, the Split function was based exclusively on the “Ownership” method. But now, you can choose the basis of the split you are creating- such as “% of Revenue”, “% of Commission Received”, and even “Fixed Dollar” amounts. Once the basis for the split arrangement has been selected, the arrangement can be easily applied to different a level of granularity (Order, Client, Agent, and Agent Company). This eliminates most of the labor in managing splits, allowing them to be efficiently applied to current and future orders automatically.

If you are a current Commission user with existing Splits arrangements, they are automatically “grandfathered” into the new scheme and you can leave them as is — no action is required. You may, however, wish to delete the old split arrangements and replace them with the new, more powerful split methodology. Or you can simply leave the existing Splits in place and, going forward, add new split arrangements using the new methodology.
