Salestream Software announced today the initial release of their new end user facing instant quote feature called the “RFQ Widget”. This new feature provides the first public Internet facing access to MasterStream’s popular Instant Quote capability. Now MasterStream-based telecom agents and providers can create and deploy unlimited “RFQ Widgets” among their agents and direct sales people web sites to enable instant telecom quotes to be requested and generated.

“The new RFQ Widget feature provides a powerful new tool for our MasterStream clients, both telecom providers and agents alike, to obtain sales leads and prospects via the Internet” said Steve Roberts, CEO of Salestream Software. “Embedding the RFQ Widget within their own agent and direct sales web sites, our MasterStream based clients can dramatically increase sales leads and resulting sales” he added.

The RFQ Widget is created utilizing a simple HTML code snippet generated within MasterStream. When this code snippet is added to the agent’s own web page, it creates a fully-functional web form where prospects can request a quote for one or more telecom products at a specific service location. The request for quote (RFQ) is processed through MasterStream to instantly fetch quotes from the many instant quote providers contained in MasterStream. The quote results are presented to the prospect via e-mail and the sponsoring agent or sales person is also e-mailed with the prospect’s contact information as well as the product(s) of interest.

Additional enhancements to the RFQ Widget are in process and scheduled for during the second quarter of 2013.

Salestream Software announced today the release of a major enhancement to the Document Manager feature of MasterStream-UNITY™, their hosted automation system for telecom agents and providers.
The Document Manager feature in MasterStreamTM can instantly generate signature ready order documents for the customer, dynamically pre-populated with data from MasterStream’s RFQ process. Until now, the output format was exclusively a non-editable Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format.

The new enhanced Document Manager offers customers the ability to output order documents as pre-populated Excel (.xlsx) files that can remain editable by the user. This new capability also allows MasterStream-UNITY™ customers to define protected content so customers can’t edit anything they shouldn’t.

Salestream Software today announced the release of a new queuing platform within the MasterStream-UNITY system for telecom professionals.

Salestream is pleased to announce the released our new queuing platform for RFQs. Queuing moves all quote processing into the background so users can immediately move on to something else after submitting an RFQ rather than having to wait for it to complete. This feature is particularly important when working with the kinds of large multi-location opportunities becoming more common among users.

Now when each submitted RFQ completes its quote process, a notification will appear on the submitter’s screen- wherever they are in the system- informing them of the RFQ’s completion and presenting a link allowing them to jump back to it for review.

In addition to the immediate benefits users will find with the queuing platform it is also a critical component in our upcoming release of MasterStream’s Cloud Manager, a major new feature set planned for release next week.

Salestream Software today announced the release of proposal tracking & notification, another enhancement to the MasterStream-UNITY platform for telecom professionals.

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensure MasterStream users are the best equipped, most efficient telecom professionals in the industry, we’ve just added some great new automatic tracking features for sales. The RFQ Manager has been upgraded to include tracking on proposals sent from MasterStream. The new information displayed includes the following:

• Quotes Sent to Agent: shows timestamp showing when the quotes were sent to the agent and how many services were in each status at the time of send.
• Quotes Sent to Customer: shows timestamp showing when the proposal was sent to the customer, who sent it and who it was sent to.
• Viewed by Customer: shows the ten most recent times the customer viewed the proposal. This tracking is based on some changes to the proposal url when it is sent from the proposal itself.

As part of this new feature set we’ve also added a new notification feature that allows the agent or salesperson to receive an email notification whenever their customer has clicked on their proposal link.

Salestream Software today announced the release of another round of enhancements to the MasterStream-UNITY platform for telecom professionals.

In response to several, often competing, requests from customers about how to best present various menus within MasterStream, we’ve decided to provide the best of all worlds to our customers. In this round of updates we’ve added user-level preferences that allow the user to specify whether they prefer a menu to use predictive text or a scrollable pull-down bar.

Users can now set their own preferences with different menus and their counterparts can set their own, independent preferences. Users can now choose to use predictive text in menus where they might have such a large number of options (like customers) that a pull-down menu is impractical. In addition to the preference setting, users can toggle the menu behavior if they find that a particular circumstance warrants switching to the other menu style.

Also in this update we’ve added a group update status button in MasterStream’s Quote Manager to allow the updating of many site-level statuses at once. This feature is ideal for working with multi-location RFQs.
